Cut-off Score for NEET MDS 2024

Validity: This result is valid for admission to All India 50% quota Post Graduate MDS Courses of 2024 admission session only.

How to calculate NEET MDS 2024 result?

In the NEET MDS 2024 exam, you have to answer 240 multiple-choice questions. The highest score you can get is 960 marks. If you answer wrong, they will take away 25% of the marks for that question. This is how they figure out your final score.

Marking scheme for NEET MDS result

• For each correct answer = +4 marks will be given
• For every incorrect answer = -1 mark will be deducted
• Unattempted questions = 0 marks

NEET MDS marks = (Number of correct answers) x 4 - (Number of incorrect answers) x 1

Ranking System:

• All India 50% quota rank: This is the overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in NEET-MDS 2024 after applying tie-breaker criteria and are eligible for All India 50% quota seats, and is valid for All India 50% quota Post Graduate MDS Courses of 2024 admission session only.
   
• All India 50% quota category rank: This is the overall merit position of the candidate in the category (OBC/SC/ST) as opted by the candidate in NEET-MDS 2024 for All India 50% quota seats and is valid for All India 50% quota Post Graduate MDS Courses of 2024 admission session only.

Qualification to participate in online counseling for All India 50% quota seats does not confer any automatic rights upon the
candidates for admission to All India 50% quota Post Graduate MDS Courses.

Reservation to OBC candidates in State surrendered seats under All India Quota from the academic session 2023-24 shall be
subject to outcome of the case pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Writ Petition No. 596 of 2015.

The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.
