How it works

You apply. Your college qualifies. Four students from your college receive awards.

Start with your application, then invite your college batchmates. Your college must reach 30 verified eligible applicants before you can be considered for a scholarship.

Apply and submit your documents

Complete the application with your mobile number, college and internship details, and answer the application questions.
Submit your college ID and latest BDS marks card for verification.
MERITERS cross-verifies every application. Only verified eligible applications count toward your college’s total.

Invite your college batchmates to apply

Share the scholarship opportunity with eligible batchmates and encourage them to complete their applications.
Your college needs a minimum of 30 verified eligible applicants to qualify. Your college must qualify for you to be considered.
Thirty is a minimum, not a cap. More students may apply while your college’s scholarship round is open.

Be among the first 50 qualifying colleges

The first 50 colleges to reach 30 verified eligible applicants receive awards. As soon as your college qualifies within these first 50, four applicants are selected.
Each selected student receives MERITERS App Unlimited Access + AI, valued at ₹25,000, at zero cost.

First 50 qualifying colleges receive awards. A college qualifies once MERITERS has cross-verified at least 30 eligible applicants from it. Qualification order is based on verification of the 30th eligible applicant. Thirty is a minimum, not a cap. Four scholarships are awarded to students from each of the first 50 qualifying colleges.

Results published college-wise. Results follow verification. Recipient names appear only with appropriate consent; private application details remain private.

For the winner only. Scholarship access cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else. MERITERS may revoke access if any transfer, sale or attempted transfer or sale is detected.

The ₹50 lakh scholarship pool covers 200 awards at ₹25,000 each: four awards for each of the first 50 qualifying colleges. Final terms will be published before registration goes live.

You should be a 2026-batch BDS intern preparing for NEET MDS 2027.

Internship end date

Your internship must end between 1 May 2026 and 1 May 2027, inclusive, to qualify. Provide your college and expected internship completion date for verification.

Supporting documents

College ID and latest BDS marks card are requested to support cross-verification.

Short phone interview

MERITERS will call the applicant to conduct a short interview as part of the selection process.

No quiz will be conducted to select students.

Selection is based on application answers, the short interview and MERITERS verification.

Who can apply?

2026-batch BDS interns preparing for NEET MDS 2027 may apply, subject to MERITERS verification. NEET MDS examination eligibility depends on the official NBEMS rules and internship completion cutoff.

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Applying to the MERITERS scholarship program is free. No purchase is required. The ₹25,000 prize is awarded only to selected scholarship winners.

Can more than 30 students apply from one college?

Yes. Thirty verified eligible registrations is the minimum college qualification threshold, not a cap. More students from the same college can apply.

Which colleges receive scholarship awards?

The first 50 colleges to reach 30 verified eligible applicants receive awards. Qualification order is determined by when MERITERS verifies the 30th eligible applicant, not by unverified submissions. Four students are selected from each of these colleges, for 200 awards in total.

How does MERITERS verify applications?

MERITERS cross-verifies every application for college affiliation, internship status and duplicate submissions before counting it. Submitting the form alone does not guarantee verification or award eligibility.

What do scholarship recipients receive?

Each of four selected students from a qualifying college receives MERITERS App Unlimited Access + AI worth ₹25,000, valid till May 31, 2027.

Can I transfer or sell my scholarship access?

No. Scholarship access is for the selected winner only and cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else. MERITERS may revoke access if any transfer, sale or attempted transfer or sale is detected.

Will college scholarship results be made public?

Yes. Results will be published college-wise following verification. Public identification of winners will use consent or privacy-preserving identifiers.

Will a quiz be conducted to select students?

No quiz or test will be conducted to select students. Selection is based on your answers to the application questions and MERITERS verification.

How are the four recipients selected?

Four recipients per qualifying college are selected based on their answers to the application questions and MERITERS verification. No quiz will be conducted to select students. Applying alone does not guarantee a scholarship.
